Terms of use

Contents

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the Krew workforce management application ("the Service") by organisations ("Customers") and the people they authorise to use it ("Users"). By accepting these Terms on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation.

The Service is provided by Youssef Mohamed, a sole trader in the United Kingdom, trading as Krew (c/o Hicham, Flat 147 Warren House, Beckford Close, London W14 8TW, United Kingdom), referred to in these Terms as "Krew", "we" or "us".

1. The Service

Krew provides tools for planning and recording work: shift scheduling and time tracking, housekeeping day planning and checklists, task assignment, maintenance jobs, stock counts, timesheets with pay rates and deductions, work ratings, and workplace announcements. The Service is provided as-is and may change as it is improved.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and administrators must not create accounts for anyone younger. Users may create their own account and then create or join an organisation, or accounts may be created for Users by their organisation's administrators. Each User is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for the activity performed under their account. An organisation's administrators may create, deactivate, and remove User accounts within their organisation at any time. Any User may delete their own account from inside the app.

3. Acceptable use

The Service may only be used for the organisation's own lawful workforce management. Users must not attempt to access another organisation's data, probe or circumvent security or access controls, misrepresent time or location records, upload unlawful content or content that infringes anyone's copyright or other rights, or use the Service to harass others. We may suspend access that breaks these rules. Copyright notices, counter-notices and our repeat-infringer policy are described in the Copyright Policy, available in Help; accounts of repeat infringers are terminated.

4. Your data

All operational data an organisation records in the Service — rosters, shifts, checklists, tasks, photos, videos, notes, pay records, ratings — belongs to that organisation. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Administrators control the retention period for location data and day lists inside the app; other retention periods are fixed and listed in the Privacy Policy.

5. Location, photos, and videos

Where an organisation enables it, the Service records a worker's location only while they are clocked in to a shift, and photographs or videos only where a task, job, or checklist requests them. Organisations are responsible for informing their staff and for ensuring they have a lawful basis for this processing, and for any pay deductions or ratings they record, in their jurisdiction.

6. Availability

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. Planned maintenance and factors outside our control (including the hosting provider and the User's own connectivity) can interrupt the Service. Records are stored durably; entries made while offline are synchronised when a connection returns, where the app supports it.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount paid by the Customer for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Termination

An organisation may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of its data. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach of these Terms. On termination, the organisation's data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms. When we make a material change, organisation administrators are asked to review and accept the new version inside the app before continuing. The version date at the top identifies the current Terms.
